Subject: Candidate feedback
Dear Richard,
Now that the staff and I have had a chance to meet and interview the candidates
first hand I'd like to give you some feedback and would like some in return.
First off let me say that we believe all of he candidates would bring
value to the company not only in enhancing the QC 2000 program but also
in better helping us to understand and support our after-market business.
Coming from the ranks of our customer base, these individuals could supply
us with some unique insights and sensitivities not readily available to
us on a daily basis.
On one hand we are looking for a pure technologist to help us better understand
the QC 2000 from a scientific standpoint through experimentation and data
collection. On the other hand we need a technical marketing individual
to help us develop a strategy by which our potential QC 2000 customers
could be approached to maximize our product acceptance.
Now, having said that, we believe that Tom best fits the omnibus position
of technologist and technical marketeer. Tom appears to have the smarts
to understand the technology and the fab experience to engender customer
credibility and acceptance. These attributes coupled with an apparent
drive make for a good combination. I'd like to know if Tom still feels
he can make a difference with the product and why. If so, how, and also
how much he should be compensated.
Thanks for the good work so far. Let me know what you find out.
Best regards,
Juergen
